What is the difference between Online Training & In-Person Personal Training?

Before we shared the biggest difference to help you make a decision that’s right for you let’s establish something that they both have in common.
First, personal training can be so many different things depending on the client – that’s what makes it personal!
One way to look at it is like having pain in your knee and needing to see a doctor.
You can see your general doctor, an orthopedic doctor, or a knee specialist doctor.
They each will have sound ideas and assistance to ease your knee pain. However, only one will get the root of the pain–can you guess which one?
Alright, I think that made a simple and fair point. So now on the difference between online and in-person personal training.
In-person training is extremely beneficial and almost critical to someone who:
  • Needs guidance because they consider themselves a beginner >> intermediates.
  • Feels they need a more hands-on accountability variable, to ensure he/she follows thru on the task at hand.
  • Tends to be more result-oriented yet, unfocused from time to time because of their busyness or uncertainty on their schedule.
  • Cannot seem to do well for more than 3 weeks with at-home workout routines for some intrinsic reasons.
 
Online Personal training, also referred to as virtual fitness training is the way to go for someone who:
  • Needs more accountability than guidance when it comes to their workouts, nutrition, and overall wellness.
  • Tends to be more task-oriented and does well following a set process.
  • Feels that they would not push or challenge themselves if someone was not there to ensure so.
  • Responds well to individual or small group settings because a certain level of competitiveness boosts their intrinsic motivation.
 
At the Fitlab Method, we offer both!!
Actually, we refer to it as Hybrid Training and Coaching.
We do so by offering you a daily opportunity to schedule a Livestream workout session in addition to our weekly accountability check-in process.
One of the best things about the hybrid is that clients have the flexibility to request more accountability and guidance at any point they feel they need to.
And that’s one aspect that keeps your fitness program personal in addition to each of your workouts loaded onto your profile inside our workout library.
 
One clear downside of our Fitlab Method is the fact that we don’t provide training services or programs for aesthetic purposes. That means no buffing up for bodybuilding or workout just to workout.
However, our 4 tier progression signature programs are crafted to lead you to live a life to the fullest while creating memories with your love ones. Each and all while getting back to your ideal shape and overcoming chronic nagging pain(s).
